CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

I have been thinking about starting my Christmas Shopping... Because I have taken the Handmade Pledge I am going to try and keep ALL prezzies handmade this year! Last year I was about 50% handmade, 50% shops... This year I am going to try and do it... 100%.

Have you started Christmas Shopping yet? Do you try and keep everything handmade or is it too hard? Just interested to see where people are at!

I am going to start my online shopping very soon but also have Handmade Heaven, 2 Handmade Expo's and a Brisstyle Market yet, so I am sure I will have a lot to choose from.

  1. I'd love to do all of mine handmade, but I'd struggle with Hubby I think. I am going to try though. :)

  2. Hi Micky,
I love the handmade and I especially love vintage but I personally think there's always a little room for something new too :)
I had talked about going 100% recycled (minus underwear and groceries hehe!!) throughout all of next year to show that it can be done as I already buy a lot of my items (furniture, clothing pieces, homewares )vintage...but hmmm, still pondering that one.
    Love,
    Lou xoxo

  4. I definitely go for 100% handmade. Last Xmas was my first time and Lucky for me I'm surrounded by crafty peeps or peeps who love crafty stuff. So it was easy. I'll definitely be doing it again this year. I have been buying all year, and will be doing some more fabulous handmade shopping at a little market called Handmade Expo (: see you in Nov!

  5. Mine is usually a mix. I usually make something for everyone and find that you put a lot more thought into presents that way. Teenagers can be a bit tricky though. The knitted Nintendo didn't go down very well !!!
